Hayley Gotzsche is in her 8th year teaching as a Music Educator. She received her Undergraduate Degree in Music Education from Northern Illinois University (2015) and her Masters Degree in Music Education from Western Illinois University. (2022) She has presented on varying education topics at the Illinois Music Educators Conference (2020), the Northern Illinois Small District Conference (2024) in addition to last year's SEL Symposium (2023). She is a Golden Apple Award top 20 finalist (2022) and has taught vocal music at the elementary, middle, and secondary levels. She currently teaches 5-8th grade choir at Willowbrook Middle School (South Beloit, IL) in addition to directing the Stateline Area Youth Singers, for which she is the founder. She currently lives in Roscoe with her husband and 18 month old daughter. In her spare time, she likes to hike, read, sew, and spend time with family.
